Opal is the traditional birthstone of October.  Pink is newer option as well.

The name 'Opal' is thought to be derived from the Sanskrit word 'upala,' which translates to "precious stone." The stone's mesmerizing play-of-color has been likened to fireworks, galaxies, and volcanoes by awestruck observers. Opal has traditionally been seen as an emblem of purity, hope, and truth. For our October collection, we've chosen to introduce a touch of pink.
